How We Got Here
Our family started WhiteCotton over two decades ago. Not with a business plan or investor money - with sewing machines and determination. We learned quality control by doing quality control. We learned pattern-making by making patterns. There's no shortcut to this kind of knowledge.
For years, we were the "factory in Portugal" that agents claimed as their own. They'd bring us brands, take a 40% cut, and never mention we existed. When something went wrong? "Factory error." When it went right? "Our quality team made sure of it." We were invisible.
In 2023, we made a choice: build the platform ourselves. Not partner with a tech company. Not hire a "digital transformation consultant." We built GenuineBlanks from the ground up - a technology layer on top of our manufacturing expertise that finally lets brands work with us directly.
